Welcome to beautiful baby 'knits & bits'

My name is Jayne and I would like to welcome you to my site.

From a very young age I have always had an interest in designing and creating things, whether it be DIY, making curtains, knitting or crocheting.

About three years ago I stumbled across 'Reborns' on the internet and was completely amazed at their resemblence to a newborn baby. Being a midwife I have seen many of these in my time !!!

I decided I had to have a go at it, but whilst I found it amazing to bring these 'blank canvases' to life, I also found it very time consuming with my full time job.

I therefore decided to concentrate on making outfits for these little wonders instead.

After a busy day at work I like nothing better but to relax infront of the TV with a ball of wool and a crochet hook or pair of knitting needles.

I just love to see babies in hand knitted outfits.
